CBO announces auction results of 61st GDB issue
The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) announced the auction results of the 61st government development bonds (GDB) issue worth RO100mn.
According to a media release issued by CBO’s Monetary
Operations Department, the 61st GDB issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, has received applications in excess of over RO57.110mn at RO157.110mn, as against the issue value of RO100mn.
The average yield was 4.92 per cent at an equivalent price of RO101.45, while the highest yield was 5.1 per cent at an equivalent price of RO100.655 and the lowest was at 4.7 per cent at an equivalent price of RO102.425.
The five-year bond was issued on Tuesday and will mature on July 23, 2024, carrying a coupon rate of 5.25 per cent per annum.
