According to Asyad, the facilities to be offered at the integrated transport hub will include parking for buses, facilities for people with disabilities, ticket booking offices, renewable energy for operations, shops and beverage vending machines.
Apart from buses, the hub will also have stations for taxi services, which will help contribute to reducing traffic jams.

The integrated project will be important for the public transport system in the sultanate. It will be a vital centre and a major hub in connecting various public transport lines between Muscat governorate and other governorates, and a meeting point for travellers arriving and departing to and from the governorate as well as connecting it to Muscat International Airport.
The public transport station will include designated areas for people to park their vehicles on a long-term basis so that they can use public transport for their onward journeys.

The infrastructure of the terminal will be tailored to have intelligent transportation systems such as digital displays for information for the arrival and departure times of buses, public transit lines and ticket prices.
The public transport station will be designed to world-class standards to ensure the safety and security of the station’s users with facilities like fire extinguishing systems, surveillance and alarm systems.
