Chinese Navy ships dock at PSQ

A number of Chinese Navy ships arrived on Monday on an official several-day visit to the sultanate. Rear Admiral Shen Hao, deputy commander of the East Sea Fleet and head of the Chinese Navy Task Group 150, and the delegation were received upon their arrival at Port Sultan Qaboos (PSQ) by Commodore Said bin Abdullah al Sa’edi, senior staff officer at the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and RNO officers.

Muscat governor receives Chinese military official

H E Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat received in his office Rear Admiral Shen Hao. The two sides discussed matters of common concern.

H E Busaidi briefed the guest on the Governorate of Muscat and its role in serving the community, as well as the historic, tourist and civilisational landmarks renowned in the wilayats of the governorate.

Speaking on the occasion Rear Admiral Shen valued the pioneering role pursued by the government under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said in pursuing development work and cementing ties with other countries.

 

RNO chief meets Rear Admiral Shen

Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Ra’eesi, commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) received in his office Rear Admiral Shen Hao.

The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and viewpoints on several matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by Commodore Said bin Abdullah al Sa’edi, senior RNO officers and the Military Attaché at the Chinese Embassy in Muscat.
