His Majesty the Sultan exchanges greetings with world leaders
On the occasion of the New Hijri Year and the anniversary of Prophet Mohammed’s Hijra, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on Sunday exchanged greetings with leaders of Arab and Muslim countries.
His Majesty the Sultan expressed sincere greetings and best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life for them, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this happy occasion on them and make the New Year, a year of blessings for all people and achieve for the Islamic nation further progress, welfare and prosperity.
In their cables, the leaders of the friendly countries expressed their sincere greetings and best wishes of good health, well-being and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this blessed occasion on him for many years to come to achieve aspirations of further progress, welfare and prosperity for his faithful people.
His Majesty the Sultan exchanged greetings on this occasion with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the UAE, King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Sabah al Ahmed al Jabir al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait and King Abdullah II Ibn al Hussein of Jordan.
