Hotel revenues touch RO95.46mn
The total revenues of the sultanate’s hotels in the three-to-five-star category rose to RO95.466mn till the end of April 2019. This is 12.2 per cent more compared to RO85.112mn for the same period of the previous year, according the latest monthly statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The total number of guests in the sultanate’s three-to-five-star hotels till the end of April stood at 683,150.
Among the nationalities, Europeans constituted the highest number of visitors, reaching 307,840. They were followed by 165,032 Omani guests, 73,786 Asian visitors and 58,742 GCC visitors till the end of April.
Visitors from the Arab countries (Non-GCC) reached 26,123, 23,192 American visitors, 6,302 Oceanian visitors, 4,271 African visitors and 17,861 from other countries.
