Oman's aviation authority grounds Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft

Following the involvement of Ethiopian Airlines' Boeing 737 Max 8 jet crash on Sunday, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has grounded all aircraft of the series in the country.

In a statement, PACA said, “We are temporarily suspending operations of Boeing 737 Max aircraft into and out of all Omani airports until further notice.”

Aviation authorities in several countries including Ethiopia, Singapore, China and Australia, have also suspended flying the same jet.
