Over 100 colleges participate in three-day EduTraC Oman
Representatives from over 100 colleges of around 15 countries are taking part in the three-day EduTraC Oman 2017 that began at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday.
Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Education’s National Career Guidance Centre and the Ministry of Manpower, EduTraC Oman will serve as a multi-sector recruitment event for higher education, training and job opportunities.
The event will provide an excellent opportunity for students, graduates and job seekers to meet recruiters, admission officers, career counsellors and HR personnel.
The aim of the meet is to highlight the surge in the sultanate’s education, training and human resources sector both in local and international markets.
The event is being organised by Al Nimr Expo and was inaugurated by H E Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service.
H E Sheikh Marhoon said, “Education not only helps us in progressing in life but also makes people aware of their rights and duties towards the nation. This expo has been a bridge among higher educational institutions, students and workforce. It is also an excellent platform for students who want to study abroad in various fields for the development of the country. EduTraC Oman is a great event and is a great platform to improve the quality of human resources of Oman.”
