RO1mn dialysis centre to come up in Amerat
The Ministry of Health (MoH) on Monday signed at its headquarters an agreement to build a RO1mn dialysis centre in the wilayat of Amerat.
The centre will be funded by the heirs of Abdullah bin Moosa al Raisi.
The agreement was signed by H E Dr Darweesh bin Saif al Maharbi, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs in MoH, on behalf of the ministry, and Farah bint Abdullah bin Moosa al Raisi on behalf of the heirs.
The dialysis centre will be built on an area of 1,300sq m with 37 beds (ten of them will be for isolated cases). H E Dr Maharbi stressed on the importance of partnership between the government and other sectors in the sultanate in serving public interest. He also praised the initiative by Abdullah al Raisi’s family.
Farah asserted the family’s keenness to activate cooperation between the family and government institutions in a manner that serves the development aspects including health services.
